Sajik Obangsaek congratulatory and condolence envelope originated from the Osaek Soil, which is sprayed during ancestral rites at Sajikdan. According to the idea of Obang, five colors of soil are sprinkled on the altar, the symbol of the country, in each direction. This symbolizes the meaning that the land under the heavens belongs to the king. The king prayed for the stability and abundance of the people by offering sacrifices to the gods of the land and the five grains while ruling the country. It is a product designed to present the heart of wishing for abundance by applying the precious and warm heart handed down from ancient times to modern life.

"Jongmyo and Sajik, symbolizing 500 years of the Joseon Dynasty, among them, Sajikdan was the most prosperous altar for sacrificing for all people."
The Sajik Daeje is a ritual performed to pray for a good harvest. Based on the spirit of patriotism, it is a ritual with a tradition that has been passed down for about a thousand years from the Three Kingdoms period to Goryeo and Joseon. The representative spatial elements of Sajikdan are the two-layered fence, the hongsalmun built on all sides of the fence, and the rectangular stage. According to the theory of yin and yang and five elements, each pedestal was covered with five colors of earth. The works produced in the Sajikdan project contain concerns about how the historical meaning of the Sajikdan can be replaced in the modern world, where it has changed from the past.
Sajikdan has a formal and ceremonial external element called 'Jaesa' and an internal element that fundamentally shows hope for prosperity by praying for peace and good harvest for the people. The richness shared from the past to the present is in the meal, and the shape of the table square and the meaning of the place where the richness is realized are not insufficient to be called modern Sajikdan.
The five-colored soil sown on the altar, a symbol of the country, prayed for stability and abundance of the people, and was sown in each direction according to the Five Bangs. In order to pray for stability and abundance, we created a congratulatory and congratulatory envelope with meaning in each color, originating from the five-colored soil that is sprayed into the five rooms.
Modern abundance is primarily based on wealth, or money. A modern act of origin for abundance and well-being for those around us can be seen in our old custom of putting money in. The material and shape of the envelopes were also made using natural paper made from real grains and the texture of the ground and fields, just like the Sajik Daeje, which was a sacrifice to the god of land and grain. We look forward to having the freedom to choose and give colors (ceremonial occasions) that can convey the meaning according to the time and situation.
Due to the nature of handicrafts, there may be differences in form depending on the material and environment. The color of the product may look different depending on your environment.
